Michael Arrington is the President and CEO of Capital Legislative Solutions. He has been a resident of Maryland since 1969. Mr. Arrington is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Political Science; his graduate degree work in Public Administration was done at Bowie State University. Mr. Arrington is a former member of the Maryland General Assembly where he represented Prince Georges County and the 25^th legislative district. During his tenure in the House of Delegates, Mr. Arrington served on the Judiciary Committee; he was also chairman of the Bi-County subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning Commission.

In 1994, Mr. Arrington embarked upon a new career as a government relations consultant. Additionally, he was chosen by the Baltimore Business Journal as one of the 50 most powerful businesspersons in the state of Maryland. Over the years, he has represented numerous clients in many areas before the Maryland General Assembly and the Prince Georges County Government. Mr. Arrington has also served on many local Commissions and Boards including the University of Maryland Board of Governors and the Maryland State Athletic Commission.

Currently through Capital Legislative Solutions, Mr. Arrington represents Ardent Health Services, Hartford Life Insurance, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, The Peterson Companies, Metroland Developers, Gaylord Entertainment, Med Mutual, Travelers Insurance, Progressive Insurance and many others.
